Having spent her entire career working in mental health and education, Tessa has sharpened her expertise in understanding how our brains impact our behavior.

The brain of a 4-year-old and the brain of an activated adult are one in the same.
Using her understanding of brain science and her passion for understanding emotional responses, she has focused on cultivating and teaching self-awareness and compassion for self and others in leadership positions. Whether it is a supervisor struggling with an employee or a teacher struggling with a difficult student, Tessa has created powerful, effective, and lasting strategies and methods allowing for navigating relationships intentionally and thoughtfully by skillfully using our emotional intelligence.
FUN FACTS ABOUT TESSA
Tessa has a passion for triathlon! She has completed intense triathlon courses like “Escape from Alcatraz” (Yes, she DID escape!) and has competed the fierce Ironman Triathlon. She also loves being by the beach and in the ocean! She loves to vacation in Hawaii, viewing the gorgeous sunsets and getting to swim with the honu (sea turtles). Regardless whether in the water or at work, Tessa fully devotes herself to achieve epic results.
