Everything is Figure-out-able!

A client once shared a moment that completely shook their confidence.

They had been working toward a major goal, something they had poured time, effort, and energy into. And then, seemingly overnight, everything fell apart. A key team member left. A funding opportunity fell through. A project that had felt so close to the finish line suddenly felt impossible.

“I just don’t see a way forward,” they admitted. “I’ve tried everything, and nothing is working.”

I could hear it in their voice: the weight of uncertainty.

And I get it.

Do you ever feel like the challenges you’re facing are too big, too complicated, or too “unfixable”? Like the struggle you’re in may never actually resolve?

I hear you. And I’ve been there, too.

I’ve noticed that when the voice of doubt and overwhelm starts getting loud in my head, the best thing I can do is PAUSE.

Because when my mind is flooded and when I’m overwhelmed, frustrated, or in full-blown stress mode, I’m not thinking clearly. My rational brain goes offline, and my emotions take the driver’s seat. And in that space, nothing feels “figure-out-able”.

That’s why my first step is always to slow down and reset.

Then, I remind myself of one simple but powerful truth:

Everything is “Figure-out-able”.

The phrase "Everything is “figure-out-able" isn’t about pretending things are easy. It’s not about dismissing challenges or having “toxic positivity”. It’s about shifting from powerlessness to possibility.

However, when we tell ourselves that there’s a way through, we activate a different part of our brain—the problem-solving, creative, solution-seeking part.

And that’s where growth happens.

Self-Aware Leaders understand that challenges are inevitable, however it’s how we approach them that makes all the difference.

When things feel overwhelming, instead of shutting down, blaming, or feeling stuck, we can:

✔️ Pause and regulate. When emotions take over, step back and reset before reacting.

✔️ Reframe the situation. Ask, “What if this isn’t a dead-end, but an opportunity?"

✔️ Break it down. What’s one small step forward? Big problems feel impossible, but small steps feel doable.

✔️ Stay open to learning. Often, the solution exists—we just haven’t found it YET.

The next time you’re faced with a challenge that feels too big to handle, ask yourself:

➡️ Am I reacting from stress, or responding with a clear mind?

➡️ What’s one thing I can control in this situation?

➡️ If I believed everything is “figure-out-able,” what step would I take next?

Life isn’t about avoiding challenges—it’s about learning how to move through them.

So when the road gets tough, take a breath, remind yourself of the truth, and trust yourself to figure it out. Because you CAN!

If this resonates and you're ready to build more clarity, calm, and confidence—especially in the messy middle—I’d love to support you. Reach out to explore coaching, or just to let me know what challenge you’re figuring out right now. You don’t have to do it alone.

YOU MATTER!
